Creating a Smart Park
The past few decades parks have seen spaces left by the local Councils due to cutbacks, in a backdrop of accommodation getting smaller and community needs are changing.
Most parks offer a rich history and various assets that could be used for public good, or with enough space. something can be built.
There has been a growth of friend’s park groups and local communities who have taken responsibly for their local area and parks, but funds and time often halt dreams and ideas.
The Friends of Harrow Weald (Emphasis on Friends) are in the process of creating a Smart Park, with support from the local Community, Central Government, Local Government, and many different businesses. The appetite for creating something new is very much in the interest of communities throughout the UK.
These park offer a convergence of clever ideas, technology and wellbeing for humans and nature.
Parks produce wellbeing in the local area and can offer local people of all ages an opportunity of stress free engagement with the outdoors and/or other residents to get involved regardless of ability.

Taking responsibility caring for nature and people
Clean the park daily and weekly
Issues and concerns are turned into positive action in a democratic way to make change.
Treat all people equally
Above is what can be done with like minded people taking responsibility, but that's nothing in relation to people feeling alone, or sad, its minuscule when someone has been having a really hard time.
BUT getting involved with these local groups helps, even if you just go to a local park it helps.
Nature is a gift that keeps giving, but care for her and the rewards are far greater.
SMART PARK OR JUST CARING?
In its simplest form a smart park is a place where locals are able to shape how the park is used in partnership with a forward thinking Council
Your alive enjoy always, if life is getting tough it can only get better, pop into the park and chill, maybe chat to others, maybe hug a tree or watch the bugs playing, all parks will help you feel much better!
