The Mission

  • Help local artists sell their works.
  • Connect locals to artists
  • Create a small income stream for ParkLife cafe, which helps fund a "PV" small party every couple of months.
  • Bringing the nicest bunch of people together to chill, chat and purchase locals artists works.

Every few weeks, we change the exhibition and create a party, spend a couple of hours chatting with the artists, chilling with some questionably nibbles, washed down with maybe some wine, maybe some water but definitely a drink. 

Off The Wall is about hearing, talking, the eyes, the mind, taste, and the soul. We challenge the mind and encourage people to try new things.

  • Off the Wall is a rotating community art gallery there is always something new to enjoy. 
  • Creating community "PV's" every couple of months, bringing the nicest bunch of people together to chill, chat and see locals artists works for purchase.

History of Off The Wall

Over the past year our partnership with local artists and our friends @ Harrow Arts Society, have created a permanent rotating art gallery in Harrow Weald.

During this time, incredible things have happened

ParkLife Crew have met some of the loveliest of people, we found out not all artists are painters and we do not sell cheap art works, we have been told they are affordable.

The ParkLife hanging committee, is tasked to view the artist’s work and decide which ones to hang at which exhibition!

You do not need to be a Harrow Art society member to display

however membership gives you some great benefits when you do display your work.

The walls of ParkLife cafe are adorned with local affordable art, which we rotate regularly normally, with a small invitation of everyone.

Each rotation and private viewings will be held on a day that works for everyone.

  • Table top art, hand crafted items and great people to chat with.
  • Off The Shelf from the curious cabinet, not all artists are painters! You will find a range of small artists creations and a selection of curios.
  • Off The rack: A growing selection of unique artists designed seasonal and greeting cards.

Event opens @ 11am and the private viewing is between at 2pm till 4pm

Every day the walls of ParkLife cafe are adored with local artists works.

The walls are decked with affordable local art that we rotate regularly, the racks are bursting with a growing selection of Artist designed cards and a curious cabinet simply bursting with curious objects for sale.

It's a rotating community art gallery where there's always something fresh and exciting to enjoy..

Every few weeks, we flip the script at ParkLife Cafe, and rotate all the pictures with new art.

It's not your run-of-the-mill art show; it's a haven for creativity.

Our "PV's" (that's fancy art lingo for Private Viewings, but we prefer to think of them as Pretty Vibrant gatherings) happen every couple of months. We bring together the nicest bunch of folks in town to chill, chat, and dive into the world of local artists' works. And hey, if something catches your eye, it's up for grabs!

PV's are when we spend a couple of hours chatting with the artistic geniuses, chilling with nibbles that may be a tad questionable (but hey, who doesn't love an adventure for the taste buds?), and washing it all down with perhaps some wine, maybe some water, but definitely some kind of drink.

Off The Wall is not just an art display; it's a celebration of creativity, a fusion of fun and culture, and a chance to support the incredible talents brewing right here in our community.

So, come on down, unleash your inner art critic, and let's make every gathering a masterpiece!

 

 About our rotating exhibition:

Over the past year every two months all the local artists works change. This is stage 1 of our rotating gallery project, which will see over the next year some fun new introductions to this wonderful initiative between The Friends of Harrow Weald and Harrow Arts Society
